Privacy Statement and Policy
Your privacy is important to the court. This site is operated by Magistrate Court, a judicial branch of Cobb County Government and is intended for the electronic filing of court documents, which often includes publicly accessible information. This statement discloses the information practices for the electronic filing system sites, including what type of information is gathered and tracked, how the information is used and with whom the information is shared.
Our Privacy Principles:
· We provide access to court information consistent with the Georgia Open Records Act.
· Attorney and Pro Se (Civilian) contact information is considered public information; however, phone numbers and email addresses recorded in the electronic filing system will not be disclosed absent a court order, except to a court or court agency for purposes related to use of the electronic filing system.
· We do not capture, collect, or retain credit card account information during payment processing.
Password Protection and Confidentiality:
The Registered User is responsible for all use of the account and confidentiality of personal password and user information. Each attempted login will be recorded, along with its success or failure, with the requesting IP address. The Magistrate Court is not be responsible for lost, stolen, or otherwise compromised passwords or user information. We make every reasonable effort to prevent unauthorized disclosure of Registered User information gathered for use with the system.
